Victoria, Canada -

Looking for a new city to explore? Try Victoria, Canada. This hidden gem can easily satisfy your wanderlust. In this article, I will talk about what you can do in Victoria, Canada.

Firstly, how do you gain access to this city? Personally, I recommend you take the ferry from Seattle to Victoria. It takes between an hour or two via this route, and the scenery is breath taking. You'll also have a great view of the Olympic mountains if you take the sea route.

Another option is by plane. You'll miss out on some scenery, but it's faster. Don't forget, you'll also need to have a passport if you travel by air. At this time, you don't seem to need a passport if you visit by sea. I would still get one, though.

The city's climate is very appealing. It is usually mild most of the year, but it can become cold and wet in the winter. I visited in July, and it was probably between seventy five and eighty degrees. You could easily get used to it.

What about getting around in Victoria, Canada? I took a double decker bus, which was a great way to experience the city. The bus made it feel like I was in London, and some of the people even seemed to have an English accent. The people in the city were very friendly, as well. The bus ride went all over the city and the bay. There was a brief stop to watch and feed some seals, and then we were off again.

You can also just walk, if you wish. This is a city that is pedestrian friendly, so feel free to walk as much as you like. I recommend a little of both. What is there to see and do? There's the bay, for starters.

You'll see sailboats and cruise ships scattered about the harbor. The architecture is also very beautiful; it has an older feel to it. I believe that the architecture falls under the Victorian era. The hotels, statues, lamp posts, and the governmental buildings are also very interesting to look at or take pictures of.

You can also visit a restaurant and eat some fish and chips(fries), visit a souvenir shop, or find a museum to explore. Depending on the type of currency that you're using, you may find that shopping is cheaper as well. This city is definitely an interesting place worthy of your time and money. My only regret in visiting this city is that I only stayed for the day.

In conclusion, if you're searching for a new place to explore then Victoria, Canada could be just what you need. There is no lack to the amount of sightseeing you can do in this city. Have fun.
